Dear Parents/Guardians,

10 th Grade is an important year for students. They are facing many challenges and are only 3 short years from leaving high school. They need to learn how to be successful in school. Science can prove to be very challenging, and the expectations I have for my students include responsibility for one’s own learning and preparation for science classes which follow General Biology.

To help your student be successful in Biology, please check the following:

General Biology Students are given homework 3-4 days a week. (Check General Biology Homework).

Science students need a separate notebook for Biology. (See “Notebook Requirements”).

Tests and Quizzes are given weekly (Check General Biology Homework).

All notes given in class can be supplemented by information found on the “Notes” page, and in the book, Please have your students read the book and do any assignments from the book.

Labs and Activities are also done weekly and require a “Lab Write Up” (See “General Biology Lab Write Ups” on the “Lab” page).

If you would like to have an e-mailed progress report, please e-mail me with a request and I will send you a report (updates are available on Mondays).
